This painting was created on the plein-air in the national park Zuid-Kennemerland in August 2021 in the Netherlands.
I woke up at night and cycled to the national park to see the sunrise there. I was sitting and painting this picturesque pink field of heather flowers, they looked so fresh and bright under the light of the morning sun. There were no people around, only wild horses and birds. 

The impressionist style of the painting makes it a perfect home decor item. The preview images show how the painting looks framed.
